Mark Smith

Mark has worked in the transport and infrastructure industries as a senior executive for approximately 20 years.  Mark has worked for State Rail, Transfield, FreightCorp and Pacific National.  Mark founded Translawcom
in July 2005.

Mark is a lawyer who also has a Bachelor of Science (NSW) and a Master
of Business Administration (Syd).  During Mark’s legal studies he was
awarded the Butterworths Prize for first place in Equity and first place
in Legal Institutions.

Felix McKnight
Lawyer and Senior Associate

Felix has worked as a lawyer in Australia (New South Wales, Western Australia and Victoria), the USA and Singapore on some major infrastructure projects and transactions. Felix has more than 12 years experience in corporate law including drafting, negotiating and managing a wide range of commercial and corporate arrangements and has conducted various negotiations both in the private sector and public sector.

Felix has worked on a range of Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) including the successful bid by the Aquasure consortium for the $3.5 billion Melbourne Desalination Project. Felix also worked and advised on the restructure of Macquarie Bank.

Felix has worked for Freehills, HiSmelt Corporation, Macquarie Capital Advisors and Zurich Insurance in the fields of infrastructure, transport, mining and telecommunications.

Felix holds the following degrees, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia
